Our
research group has recently discovered the 1st known arsenic
hyperaccumulator, commonly known as Chinese Brake fern
(p. vittata). The discovery was published in Nature in 2001, resulting in unprecedented publicity
for our research program and generating much interest in phytoremediation of
arsenic contaminated sites. |
